UPCOMING Pub/History #Tour of #Holborn, #Clarkelwell, and #Bloomsbury

The tour will last between 2-1/2 to 3 hours and will end in a pub. We will be visiting some of #London's most famous and impressive pubs whilst venturing into various historical epochs. Britain's pubs were never just places to drink, but a much needed excuse to be among one another. And of course, during many fascinating times in history. The public houses we still walk past today played their parts in everything from law to war. Join us for a walk and a few refreshments as we delve into the living museums of #Britain.

Prices: £20 per ticket (for over 18s),

Under 16s: Free (If accompanied by a paying adult)

The carnyx was a wind instrument of the Celts of the Iron Age, used between 300 BC and 200 AD. It was a kind of bronze pipe, vertically directed, with a bell in the form of an animal's head, such as a boar's. It was used during battles.
