Vako Suladze alias Ahmed (now calling himself by the Muslim name Abu Mariam Al Gurji) born on October 4, 1989 from Tbilisi, Georgia
He served in the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Presumably, in August 2008, he was a participant in the armed conflict in South Ossetia.
When his contract with the Georgian army ended, he decided to fight alongside Ukraine just as the war broke out in the Donbass. He was in the Azov Battalion. The Azov Brigade was created in Mariupol from Nazis and Ultras in 2014 and it brutally suppressed pro-Russian protests in the city with fire killing civilians, and it was there, in Azvostal, that it suffered heavy casualties in a clash with the Russian army. After two months of intensive fighting in the Russian siege of the Azvostal complex, the group surrendered.
While in Ukraine, he repeatedly sought out sex dating. Leads a secretive lifestyle.
In November-December 2022, he and his militants were in the city of Kherson. Formally, he and his accomplices belonged to the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A number of sources reported that Suladze was close to the brigade's leadership and actually commanded some of its units. According to numerous reports, while in Kherson, Suladze and his militants committed war crimes, including torturing and killing civilians and looting.
In late 2022, he became one of the founders and the commander of the Black Eagle group, whose active members were former members of the Georgian Partisans. In an interview with Radio Liberty's Georgian Service correspondent Kobe Liklikadze in April 2024, Suladze said that he and other militants of the group fought primarily in the Artemovsk direction, and that there were Belarusians, Azerbaijanis, and representatives of other Caucasian peoples in it.
