God doesnt always answer prayers on our time or even the way we want Him to, but He definitely listens and He definitely answers ! On His own time, in His own way, and according to His holy will ! I was in the Dc Gulag for about 7 months before i saw my lawyers for the first time. Lt lancaster had threatened me not to take my legal discovery out so i wouldnt be able to review it with my lawyers.. on top of that, my lawyers traveled for 5 hours and werent "able to bring their laptop in either". One of the first things they said to me is, "Your best option is to cooperate".. These are the people at the time that i had all my hope in .. the only people i thought could defend me from the crushing full weight of the government.. and they had absolutely no interest to. I was in a very deep valley, a very low place. The only thing i could think of, my only option left was to go quietly into my cell and close the door. For the first time. i knelt by my bunk and started pouring my heart out to God. Everything just came flowing out like a river.. "God if you're punishing me for the way i've been living then i completely deserve it.." "If it's Your will that i stay in here for years, then i humbly accept.. Your ways are just and perfect" "I repent of my sins Lord and ask Your forgiveness.. please have mercy on me"... I gave everything up to God and on that day, in a dark and moldy cell I surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
I was laying there numb and not knowing what to think; I must've prayed for at least 20 minutes or so.. I didnt even have the energy to get up. I was thinking about how In the Holy Bible the angels of the Lord freed St Peter from prison, and all i could naively think was, "yeah right, that only happens in the Bible... right ?" ..
About an hour later, MTG and Louie Gohmert walked in through those doors ! People can call that a coincidence all they want; to me that was a clear answer and the grace of our Holy God. He does listen and He does answer prayers ! I was completely hopeless, then suddenly i was full of hope ! He took me from the darkest valley to the brightest mountaintop and wrapped his wings around me. I was still struggling after that, but I definitely had hope.. everyone needs hope to get through the day.
