🇺🇸An email from Chris Quaglin’s dad:🇺🇸

Hello Folks,
I know it has been a while since I have communicated to you concerning Chris's situation.   Please forgive me but things with us have been really strained lately. Chris's trial is now a mere 5 weeks away. July 11th.  He is doing well physically but emotionally he is really feeling the stress.  He runs hot and cold from real worry to real concern about the outcome.  He still has not been given his Discovery to review.  He is very limited to speaking with legal counsel.  His lawyer requests daily access up to 12 hours in order to prepare but is only allowed telephone calls 16 minutes at a time.  So you can see why his emotions run wild.  The only thing which has improved are his daily meals which now consist of turkey, gluten free bread, rice checks, cereal and hard boiled eggs.  He continues to supplement with purchased commissary items.  He has actually gained some weight.
Our family is under the most unfortunate circumstances now with his mom very recently being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer (ampulla cancer) requiring a major abdominal surgical procedure which has been scheduled for June 20th. In Boston. Fortunately we believe we may have caught the cancer early enough so with the surgery combined with a round of chemo. she will be ok. Please keep both Chris and his mom in your prayers.

A special shout out to all of you and especially to those of you who continue to support Chris's wife Moira and their son Nathan.  Both are doing well but will not be able to attend the trial.  With his mom's recovery still unclear I am still hoping to attend at least for a day or two.
