Another chinese brand joins the iOS 26 clone competition.
The competition b/w chinese brands is literally about who can copy Apple in the best way possible while none of the brand will give any f*ck to upgrades, security patches and bug fixes.

🍏 Apple’s October Launches: What’s Coming @ MarkGurman
Apple’s October product wave is here. With the iPhone 17 lineup, iPhone Air, AirPods Pro 3, and new Watches already out, attention now shifts to the rest of the fall pipeline.
---
📱 New Announcements
This round will be revealed online, not via a campus event. Expected:
- M5 iPad Pro – powered by the new M5 chip, already in mass production.
- Vision Pro update – faster chip, improved strap, also in production.
Both are set for imminent release.
---
💻 MacBook Pro Outlook
A refreshed MacBook Pro may also debut:
- Apple originally planned updates for early next year, since M5 Pro and M5 Max chips won’t be ready in volume until then.
- But the entry-level M5 chip is ready (it powers the new iPad), so the base 14-inch MacBook Pro is launch-ready.
- Inventory clues: shortages of base M4 Pros, while high-end models remain in stock — a classic sign of transition.
---
🔮 On the Road Map
Still to come in the months ahead:
- AirTag (2nd gen)
- HomePod mini refresh
- Apple TV set-top box
- New iPad Air & entry-level iPad
- Two external monitors
- M5 MacBook Air lineup
- iPhone 17e
---
✨ Big Picture
Apple is orchestrating a flurry of device updates, staggering launches across iPads, Macs, wearables, and accessories. The strategy ensures a steady stream of new hardware well into next year.

🤝 NPCI & NTT DATA Japan Deal
NPCI International (NIPL) signed an MoU with Japan’s NTT DATA, operator of CAFIS, the country’s largest card network. The pact will enable UPI payments at Japanese merchants, letting Indian tourists pay via apps like PhonePe, Paytm, Google Pay, or BHIM by scanning QR codes—no forex cards or cash needed.
📈 Why it matters:
- Jan–Aug 2025: 208k+ Indian visitors to Japan, a 36% rise vs 2024.
- Supports Japan’s push for a cashless economy.
- Boosts merchants by tapping into Indian tourist spending.
🗣️ Leaders say:
- NIPL CEO Ritesh Shukla:
- NTT DATA:
🌍 Impact:
- Travelers: seamless, familiar payments abroad.
- Merchants: more sales, easy integration.
- India: expands UPI’s global footprint (already in Singapore, UAE, France, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Bhutan, Nepal).
✅ In short: Indians can soon pay in Japan just like at home—with UPI.
