🇷🇺 🇱🇾 Libyan Delegation Visits Moscow Islamic Institute
On April 23, the Moscow Islamic Institute (MII) welcomed a delegation from Libya. The delegation included:
Mr. Salеm Ramadan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Taher Az-Zawi Charity Organization;
Dr. Salah Ali Lamin Alshaab, Vice-Head of the Al-Shaikh Al-Tahir Al-Zawi Center for Research and Manuscript Studies;
Dr. Al-Makki Ahmad, Chairman of the Board of the Libyan Center of Quran.
The guests were received by Rinat Ibragimov, MII Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Ruslan Baishev, Dean of the Institute. The delegation was conveyed greetings from MII Rector, Doctor of Theology Damir Mukhetdinov, and given a tour of the educational complex. During the meeting, representatives of the MIA spoke in detail about the educational programs, scientific activities of the university and showed an exhibition of paintings from the collection of the Publishing House "Medina".
The Libyan representatives showed particular interest in discussing joint projects in Islamic studies. The guests interacted with students, shared professional expertise, and wished them success in their studies, emphasizing the importance of training qualified personnel for the Muslim ummah.
At the conclusion of the visit, the guests thanked the Institute's leadership for the warm welcome and substantive program. As a token of appreciation, they were presented with book publications from Medina Publishing House.
