🔸 Role & mandate / भूमिका: AICTE is the statutory body responsible for planning, formulation and maintenance of norms & standards for technical education (engineering, management, pharmacy, architecture, etc.) in India. / AICTE वह संस्थान है जो भारत में तकनीकी शिक्षा (इंजीनियरिंग, मैनेजमेंट, फार्मेसी, आर्किटेक्चर आदि) के मानक तय करने, नियोजन व नीतियाँ बनवाने का काम करता है।
🔸 Approval & affiliations / स्वीकृति व नियंत्रण: AICTE gives approval to start new technical institutions/courses and lays down minimum infrastructure, faculty and curriculum norms. / नए टेक्निकल कॉलेज/कोर्स की अनुमति (approval) और न्यूनतम इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, फैकल्टी व पाठ्यक्रम के मानक निर्धारित करना AICTE का कार्य है।
