So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:152)
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ
Allah ﷻ connects two powerful acts in this ayah: Dhikr (remembrance) and Shukr (gratitude). When you remember Him in your heart, tongue, and actions, He elevates you by remembering you before the angels. When you show gratitude for His blessings, He increases them. Forgetfulness and ingratitude, however, distance the heart from its Creator.
💬 Reminder
• Every breath you take is a gift.
• Every sip of water is a mercy.
• Every heartbeat is an invitation to turn back to Allah.
Gratitude isn’t just in words — it’s in how we use Allah’s blessings. Using time, health, and wealth in obedience is the truest form of shukr.
The one who remembers Allah never feels alone, and the one who thanks Allah never feels poor.
Think of this: The King of Kings promises — “Remember Me, and I will remember you.” What honor could be greater? Yet how often do we replace His remembrance with endless scrolling, idle talk, or worry about people’s opinions?
Let today be different. Choose moments of silence, whisper His Name, and feel the weight of being remembered by the One who created the heavens and the earth.
🧎 Whisper often: اللهم اجعلني من الذاكرين الشاكرين
“O Allah, make me among those who remember You and are grateful to You.”
