The Noble Quran

Imam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

"The worst type of generosity is your generosity in giving away your good deeds to others—through backbiting, gossiping, slander, insulting, and cursing.
And the most beautiful type of stinginess is to withhold yourself from wasting your good deeds.

The truly fortunate one seeks forgiveness for their faults and remains patient in the face of hardships."

‏قال الإمام #ابن_تيمية - رحمه اللّٰه - :

أسوأ أنواع الكرم هو:
كرمك في إهداء حسناتك للآخرين،
غِيبةً، ونمِيمةً، وبُھْتانًا، وسبًّا، وشتمًا، وأجمل أنواع البخل هو: أن تمنع نفسك من هدر الحسنات،
فالسعيد يستغفر من المعائِب،
ويصبر على المصائِب.
