توفي قبل آيام الشيخ المُقرِئ عبداللطيف الموصلي "شيخ قراء الموصل والعراق"، عن عمر يناهز ٩٤ عامًا.
كان يُقرِئ القرآن حتى آخر ساعات حياته.
بوفاته ينزل الإسناد العراقي درجة، كونه أعلى قراء العراق إسنادًا.
اللهمَّ اغفر له وارحمه واجعله في أعلى عليين.

Sheikh Abdul Latif Al-Mawsili, the reciter of the Quran in Mosul and Iraq, passed away a few days ago at the age of 94.
He was reciting the Quran until the last hours of his life.
With his death, the Iraqi chain of transmission descends a degree, as he is the highest in the chain of transmission of the Iraqi reciters.
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, and place him in the highest heavens.
