في بيان، أكد متحدث باسم (ميتا) خطط الشركة:
“نحن نستكشف شبكة اجتماعية لا مركزية قائمة بذاتها لمشاركة التحديثات النصية. نعتقد أن هناك فرصة لمساحة منفصلة حيث يمكن للمبدعين والشخصيات العامة مشاركة التحديثات في الوقت المناسب حول اهتماماتهم."
