Last Update:
Maybe you and I would have wound up in a story just by sitting in a pub together. Maybe that pub would become part of a great event in which we bore witness.
Maybe our family, our town or city drinkers would have created songs or fables in relation to whatever it is you and I were present for in this imaginary pub of ours.
For years after us maybe it would stand strong, maybe even visited by people from far and wide just because of the great story it held, only for it to one day be torn down within a week, long after we’re gone, never to be seen again.
A dramatic scenario? Not to me in the slightest, to me I believe the things we don’t know are probably more important than the things we do and I for one resent the fact we’ve lost and continue to lose more than we’ll ever be able to retrieve.
