Persian gardens and garden cities both embody a profound synthesis of landscape architecture, climate adaptation, and livability. The Chahar Bagh layout, once the backbone of royal gardens, has evolved into an interwoven network of green infrastructures within contemporary garden cities. The intelligent water management systems rooted in qanats and reflective water features now manifest in sustainable irrigation strategies and biofiltration systems. These verdant realms, through microclimate regulation, the seamless integration of public and private spaces, and the revival of cultural identity, transform the Persian garden ethos into a contemporary paradigm for resilient urban landscapes.

📎 از چهارباغ تا باغ‌شهر؛ میراثی از معماران منظر برای جوامع پایدار:
باغ‌های ایرانی و باغشهرها هر دو بازتابی از پیوند ژرف معماری و طبیعت‌اند، جایی که طراحی، اقلیم و زیست‌پذیری درهم ‌تنیده می‌شوند. الگوی چهارباغ، که روزگاری استخوان‌بندی باغ‌های سلطنتی بود، امروز در باغشهرها به شبکه‌ای از فضاهای سبز هم‌بافته بدل شده است. مدیریت هوشمند آب، میراث قنات‌ها و آب‌نماهای خنکای‌بخش، در باغشهرها به سیستم‌های پایدار آبی و بایوفیلتراسیون تکامل یافته است. این قلمروهای سبز با خلق خرداقلیم‌های خودبسنده، ترکیب هوشمند فضاهای عمومی و خصوصی و احیای هویت بومی، باغ‌های ایرانی را به روایت معاصر شهرهای پایدار پیوند می‌زنند.
