﴿أَفَلَا تَتَفَكَّرُونَ﴾ -الأنعام٬ الآية ٥٠.

صورة لعُش طائر القرقف له فتحتان: فتحة ضيقة يدخل فيها الطائر٬ وفتخة آخرى واسعة تحت الضيقة خُدعة لتُخدع به المفترسات لتظن أن العش فارغ. ولما يخرج الطائر من العش يُغلق الفتحة الضيقة فلا تكون واضحة٬ ويفعل ذلك حين يدخل عشه أيضًا.
