По информации «СЦКК ДНР», днём 24 января в результате артиллерийского обстрела Никитовского района г. Горловка погибла женщина 1977 г.р., а ещё 10 человек в возрасте от 37 до 74 лет получили ранения различной степени тяжести. Вечером во время обстрелов Центрально-Городского района города были ранены двое мужчин 1979 и 2003 г.р. Заявляется, что все удары были нанесены снарядами с кассетной боевой частью. Повреждения получили более 20 многоквартирных домов, детский сад, котельная, автомобили и газопровод.
