The September issue of the Campaign to Free Political Prisoners in Iran (CFPPI) newsletter, which highlights the urgent and heartbreaking realities facing political prisoners in Iran.
This issue covers:

The tragic death of Somayeh Rashidi, a jailed rights activist, following systematic medical neglect.

The execution of Babak Shahbazi, carried out despite legal objections.

The life-threatening hunger strike of Hossein Ronaghi, whose health grows more critical by the day.

Protests and hunger strikes in Qarchak Prison, where women prisoners are protesting the death of Somayeh Rashidi and denouncing inhumane conditions.

The looming execution of three women prisoners, each facing death sentences after unfair trials.

An alarming escalation in executions, with more than 1,000 people executed in Iran in the first nine months of 2025.

These are not isolated tragedies. They reflect a deliberate system of repression—where denial of medical care, torture, and executions are systematically used to silence dissent.

We urge you to:

-Lend your voice by raising awareness and amplifying the demands of political prisoners.

- Invite CFPPI to speak at your workplace, organization, or event to shed light on the current situation.

Together, we can echo the voices of those behind bars and call for justice.

Over 33,000 people sent out over 1,000 doxxing messages in the group. Although the administrators tried to delete all of the messages, the posting speed was far too much for them to keep up. Hui said the messages, which included urging the disruption of airport operations, were attempts to incite followers to make use of poisonous, corrosive or flammable substances to vandalize police vehicles, and also called on others to make weapons to harm police.
