امیرحسن اکبری منفرد، زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان تهران بزرگ (فشافویه)، از روز شنبه ۱۵ شهریورماه ۱۴۰۴ دست به اعتصاب غذا زده است. او اعلام کرده که این اقدام را در اعتراض به شرایط غیرانسانی و بحرانی پدرش، محمدعلی اکبری منفرد، انجام داده است؛ پدری سالخورده، بیمار و فلج که هم‌اکنون در بیمارستان تجریش تحت مراقبت‌های امنیتی به‌سر می‌برد و جانش به‌طور جدی در خطر است.
