I think I might have helped someone find God on Sunday. I was in a Catholic shop when a Native man, who looked homeless, came in and asked me to buy him a cross. I agreed, and as I was paying, he started talking—about the dead speaking, people in electricity who talk, and even how he brought someone back to life. It was intense. My brother asked the shopkeeper if he comes in often, and she said it was the first time she’d ever seen him.

Then—two days later, I came back to the shop, around the same time, maybe just after 6. And he walked in again. This time, he had a Bible in his hands. He picked out a rosary and paid for it with his own money. As he walked out, he rambled, “God is real.”

It felt like more than just a coincidence. I should’ve asked his name. It’s amazing he showed up again at almost the exact same time I did, two days later. Please say a prayer for him—whatever he’s going through, I hope God keeps working in his life.
