Такие "киберпчёлы" могут использоваться для скрытной разведки, операций в труднодоступных местах, а также для спасения людей после стихийных бедствий. На насекомых можно устанавливать камеры, микрофоны и датчики - благодаря их размерам они пролетают туда, куда не доберётся ни человек, ни дрон, написано в материале.

Подобные эксперименты также проводят в США, Японии и Сингапуре.
