Last Update:
For those reading from around the world, so you don't get distracted from the truth:
- Although they are being called terrorists, extremists, and radicals, American students are protesting the bombing to death of more than 30,000 people in Gaza by Israel with the support, backing, and funding of the United States government led by President Joe Biden, most of them innocent women and children.
- Israel began bombing Gaza following the October 7, 2023, attack by Hamas that left more than 1,200 people dead in Israel, most of them innocent civilians.
- But the conflict between Israel and Palestine did not start on October 7. It's been going on for decades.
- Many US administrations have tried to bring about peace between Israel and Palestine, and the official US position is that Palestine should become a state, which is often called a two-state solution.
- That means Palestine and Israel should live peacefully as two states, two neighbors. Many in Israel reject this solution as impracticable.
- As everyone knows, there seems to be no other solution. So the conflict has been going on for decades with different leaders on both sides, with rockets flying from Gaza to Israel and missiles from Israel to Gaza with no solution in sight. This is because the world has failed to resolve the crisis, hiding behind half-measures that will never work, pretending to try to resolve the solution but not really dealing with the real issue.
- American students have had enough and have been protesting for months.
- The media and the elite, in their attempt to discredit them, have described them as radicals, terrorists, terrorist sympathizers, and extremists.
- The protesters have been mostly peaceful, even with no police presence on campuses.
- Just like on January 6, 2021, you can decide to focus on the protesters who were clashing with the police, disobeying police orders, breaking windows at the US Capitol, and trespassing to conclude that most of the Republican protesters who were there were violent or as the left calls them domestic terrorists.
- Over 99.9 percent of the protesters have been mostly peaceful.
- The official narrative is that journalists must describe them as violent, terrorists, radicals, and extremists. They must also focus on the 0.1 percent who get violent to label all of them as violent.
- The official narrative is also that you should not focus on the bombing to death of innocent civilians in Gaza; instead, you should focus only on Israelis killed on October 7 and the people still being held hostages, including a few Americans.
- That dishonesty is widespread in the media and comments sections on social media. Anyone who tries to state all the facts, the killing of Israelis, the hostages, the killing of Palestinians, and the long-term solution, is attacked and branded as a terrorist or terrorist sympathizer.
- Finally, campus protests with students taking over buildings are not new in the United States. In April 1985, about 150 students blockaded Hamilton Hall for nearly three weeks, demanding that the university end indirect investments in South Africa because of the country's racist apartheid policy. Just like now, many people who supported apartheid and racism against black people back then labeled the students as terrorists and radicals. History has proven them right.
