Case Summary
A 38-year-old male patient presented with symptoms suggestive of a urethral polyp, and his case was evaluated by the trainees of the Comprehensive Ultrasound Diploma at Addison Institute.

🔰Ultrasound Findings:
♦️Bladder:
The bladder is adequately distended with smooth walls and no signs of trabeculation. No bladder stones or masses are observed.

♦️Prostate:
The prostate gland is within normal size limits, measuring 20 grams, with homogeneous echotexture.

♦️Urethra:
A well-defined, hyperechoic mass is identified within the distal urethra, consistent with a urethral polyp. The mass measures approximately 1.2 cm in length and 0.6 cm in width. There is no evidence of associated urethral stricture or dilation proximal to the polyp.

♦️Kidneys:
Both kidneys are normal in size and echotexture, with no hydronephrosis or renal calculi detected.

♦️Post-Void Residual Volume:
Minimal residual urine is noted after voiding, measuring 20 mL, indicating no significant urinary retention.

Through hands-on training in real clinical scenarios, the trainees gain practical experience and enhance their diagnostic skills in the comprehensive ultrasound program at Addison Institute.
