A call to join #Digital #Disruption in #Tourism (DDiT) Ethiopia #Hackathon 2022
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO), in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Ministry of Innovation and Technology(MInT), IFC, iceaddis and Guzo Technologies seek to utilize the creative potential of Ethiopian software developers and designers to develop the tourism sector products (tools, web, and apps) that create a sustainable solution in the sector.
The objective of the hackathon is to develop a prototype of a tourism digital product (e.g web or app). The project should provide solutions in the following categories:
1) Tour Operation Management and Support: We seek to develop an innovative solution that supports the entire tour-related operations, management, and support in Ethiopia.
2) Exploring Addis Ababa: We seek to develop products that facilitate the exploring of Addis Ababa with convenience and fun for tourists.
3) Tourism Marketplace: We seek to develop products that can highlight, market, and sell Ethiopian cultural products online.
