When to use it?
1️⃣ Action started in the past and continues to happen.
E.g. I have worked on my project since 3pm, I haven’t finished yet.
“Still working”
2️⃣ Life experiences
The action is finished but it’s still related to the person’s life (Life is an unconcluded period of time since the person is still Alive)
E.g. I have been to London.
E.g. I have never traveled to Egypt.
💡( when to use past simple then? When we use a specific time in the past E.g. I went to London 3 years ago)
3️⃣ Using unfinished time words, the action is finished but the period of time has not over yet.
🔅 Unfinished time words examples:
This year
This week
Today
E.g. Sarah has been to school today.
Today has not over yet.
4️⃣ Finished action with a consequence / result in the present.
E.g. Sami has lost his keys, he won’t be able to get into his house.
5️⃣ Finished action happened recently (even without a result in the present)

Yet
Recently
Already
E.g. I’ve just went home.
E.g. I haven’t finished my project yet.
