An idea:
Instead of decimating agriculture fields and forests with solar panels, why not install solar panel arrays across car parks? They already heat up the local environment by a large amount, but this way we're at least storing some of that potential energy, and providing shade to the car parks. It's a safety and cooling convenience for the automobile american™™™ infrastructure while also protecting our ecosystems and agriculture from rapid and aggressive deforestation

Something I've lived with for years, ironically for me it is a good sign that I'll have sleep paralysis in the following nights. Something that's always helped me is sitting up, drinking water, and turning on some relaxing music.
