💜 World Polio Day 💜

For more than 35 years, Rotary and its partners have worked to protect children from polio through vaccination, awareness, and community action. What started as a bold dream has become one of the world’s greatest public health achievements with polio cases reduced by over 99% worldwide.

Thanks to Rotary’s ongoing efforts and support from organizations like WHO, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, millions of children are now safe from paralysis and disability.

We are proud to say that we are this close to ending polio for good and together, we can finish the job. 💪
