While Season 3 Has Been Very Mediocre So Far, Some Of You Have Clearly Forgotten Just How Abysmal S2E2 Was. It Was Absolutely Equivalent To, Or Worse, Than S3E2.

Stop defending OPM S3โs mess: 6-7 months production is not an excuse.
"6โ7 months back they started animation, they had restrained time limits."
This is the most dumb excuse anyone can give, and then some โdefenders of justiceโ fans use it to shield the studio from criticism.
Then comes the second dumbest thing these defenders do, comparing Season 3 to Season 2.
Let me explain why thatโs nonsense:
1. Season 2 was already controversial and trolled online for bad animation.
2. They had 6 damn years to come back stronger.
3. OPM is always a 12-episode season, not 24.
4. They announced Season 3 over 2.5 years ago.
5. They even released a Garou fight teaser a year ago which was fuking too good and raised everyoneโs expectations.
6. And now they claim they worked only 6โ7 months on the full animation? Seriously?
7. They had more than enough time to plan and deliver a well-animated 12-episode series if they truly cared. Look at MAPPA, who gave us JJK Season 2 (24 eps) + a movie in just 1.5 years.
8. And if production started late, fine. Weโve already waited 6 years.Fans wouldโve waited another year if they were honest about it. No oneโs rushing.
9. The truth is: they never took this project seriously. Once you accept that, it hurts even more as a real OPM fan.
10. And stop comparing frames to Season 2. at least Season 2 had animation. Season 3 is all about frames. Murataโs manga panels look 1000x better than the anime frames.
Now coming to the director - why is he getting hate?
1. Yes, some anime fans are toxic, and those who go below the belt or harass creators should be called out in public and banned. No one has that right against anyone.
2. But at the same time, many fans are genuinely criticizing, and theyโre not wrong. The director should raise his voice against the studio like how MAPPA directors did last year during JJK Season 2โs overwork issue, not defend the mess.
Again I will say,
#This isnโt โhate.โ Itโs just a fans disappointment.
We waited 6 years for peak Garou arc, not a slideshow.
