i tried to jail break my i phone 8 which has the latest update 16.7.2 i used palera1n (winra1n2.1)
i followed some steps the device got in to recovery mode and a few coding things appeared and the device is the same as it used to be. (i didn’t reset my phone) so what should i do ?

Alter Siri's activation phrase? (ie: "Hey Computer" instead of "Hey Siri")

Hi there,

I'd like to change Siri's activation phrase from "Hey Siri" to "Hey computer" so I can feel like I'm in Star Trek. I've searched around and found a lot of requests for a way to do this, but no one who's supplied an answer. Does anybody know a way to do this? It's surprising to me if no one's figured it out before.

A way to get apps that got removed from the app store that I haven't downloaded before

I recently discovered that a web game I liked had a much bigger IOS release, and I want to try it, but it got removed from the app store due to being a 32bit app, which newer Apple devices no longer support.

Is there any legal way to get it? I've tried searching online and found that I could install it using an IPA file, whatever that is. I assume it's like an APK file on Android. I looked in repositories and couldn't find it. I tried contacting the devs but they didn't answer.

The game name is "Roar Rampage", if anyone happens to know where to find it, I'll highly appreciate it.

BTW sorry if it's the wrong subreddit. I've never heard the term "jailbreak" in the context of software before, but I've seen other people use this subreddit to ask for IPA repositories, so I assumed it's fine.

iPaid Air - stuck on iOS 12.5.7 - is there a route to 16 or 17?

I've hit that wall where iPad apps like Youtube and Spotify don't work well or refuse to download the latest versions which have features I need. Other apps are affected too.

The iPad itself is mainly used for flights, keeping a baby entertained. Occasionally Keynote presentations.

Apple wants me to buy a new iPad (it wont allow me to update as of maybe 2 years ago)

I need to either:

1. find a back route to upgrade past iOS 12.5.7 to 16 or 17 if possible, or
2. buy a new iPad (boo)

I believe the hardware is fine so loathed to buy a new one.

I've also had success moving an old 2011 iMac to OSX 12 - to 2021 OSX Monterey (when it should be stuck in 2017's OSX 10 High Sierra) so I am able to get a few more years of life from that for Emails, Microsoft Word, Excel, watching youtube info.

Can I do similar with a iPad Air 1 (2013 model MD789/B) with A7 processor?

Does Tetherme (or an equivalent) work with iOS 15?

I live in a very rural location and I have basically no option but to use my phone for my home internet. AT&T gives me 10 gb of hotspot data, which is never enough for the month. Naturally, I'd like to jailbreak my phone and use Tetherme or something similar to tether my Mac. Is there something that will work for me? Whether or not Tetherme works with iOS 15 seems unclear. I've got iOS 15.4.1 on a 2nd generation iPhone SE.
