Truly special
Finished Death stranding today. It was on and off because of the other games I have been playing. What an absolutely amazing game!! One of the best stories I have ever experienced in a game. It’s my first Hideo Kojima game and can’t wait to play his other masterpieces. Who would have thought delivering orders will be fun but the GOAT.
I am on my way to start Death Stranding 2 now…

Death Stranding Unintentional Epilogue
I just wanted to share a small, but significant moment I had before I quit Death Stranding: DC:
I came back to the game after about a year of not playing since I wanted to finish up the last of the achievements I needed. One of them being the achievement requiring you to collect all memory chips. I had quite a journey finishing this one. I returned to old locations I haven't bothered with for a long time and it reminded me how much I love this game and all of the emotions I felt playing it.
The whole reason I wanted to make this post in the first place was because of the final memory chip. It's under the Japanese gate on top of a rocky mountain. Once I reached the gate, Asylum For The Feeling began playing and I was once again flooded with various emotions. Mainly joy and sorrow. It felt right to remove all of my gear after collecting the chip and to take a moment with Lou. We watched the waters in the distance gently waving.
As we made our way back down the mountain, the song continued. I made sure not to go too fast so I can enjoy it while it lasted. Once I made it back to a terminal, I turned in all of the final chips I had collected. Everyone showed up to congratulate and thank me. It felt cinematic, but was unintentional. It all fell into place to create this experience. I couldn't have asked for a better farewell.
Remember to enjoy the things in your life as they last and don't be so serious. 👍🏻
