We need to ban low effort "journalism" from the Windows subreddits
The last one for example is about how Microsoft is "quietly implying Windows losing users":
>Microsoft has seemingly confirmed that Windows is losing market share, without specifically saying so. As pointed out by ZDNet, a recent blog post confirmed that Windows is currently in use on over a billion devices. Except, "over a billion" is actually significantly down over the previous number it shared in 2022, not too long after Windows 11 first debuted.
>Back in 2022, Microsoft said Windows was in use on 1.4 billion devices, suggesting this most recent number is down enough that it can no longer say 1.4 billion.
Seriously what is this? Almost every article that's linked on here is like this, and they get thousands of up votes because no one ever reads past the headline. They add nothing useful to the subreddits.
I'm not a Windows fanboy by the way, I use Linux most of the time.

bluetooth computer and headset
I HAVE A bluetooth computer and headphones. Added a tv adapter and works with headphones. Have to unplug adapter from TV to computer to use. Is there a way to not have to change the adapt from one to the other since computer is bluetooth?

Microsoft confirms Windows 11 did not lose 400 million monthly active PCs
No, Windows 11 still runs on about 1.4 billion monthly active devices. It didnโt lose 400 million devices over the past three years. At worst, its growth has slowed, but it isnโt losing market share to Linux or macOS. Microsoft has clarified that the blogโsโฆ
Utility to properly auto hide task bar
OMG.
How is it that after all these years the 'auto-hide' Taskbar feature still does NOT work properly.
What happens is that when some apps go full screen the taskbar does NOT AutoHide and covers part of the full screen application.
I had a utility installed a while back that solved this problem but did a fresh install and forget exactly what it was called.
Anybody?

Windows 10 1803, i5 4460 --> windows 11 migration?
Hello folks!
Many years ago I bought a PC and i installed windows 8 with a free key found on the internet. Then i had the chance to migrate to W10 for free as they were not supporting 8 anymore.
Now that 10 will soon be over, I was wondering if it was possible for me to upgrade my PC to W11? I saw that it was possible to install it even on "too old" computers.... But will I have to pay for it? or is my pro licence still be available? Will i have to reset my whole SSD or just install W11 as un update?
Thanks for the help!

Duplicate display doesn't work, it keeps resetting to extend.
Today I tried to connect my TabS7 screen with my Rog Zephyrus G14. I use SuperDisplay to connect them via USB (it always worked). Since the ratio of both the laptop and the tablet are the same, I always connect them as duplicate. Today, whatever I tried, the projection mode keep reversing to "extend" when I try to set it to duplicate.
Then I tried with my TV trough HDMI, and the same thing happened.
There are not many resources online, everyone seems to have my opposite problem.
Is this a bug? How do I solve this?
PC: Asus Rog Zephyrus G14 (AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS, NVIDIA RTX 4060)
Edition: Windows 11 Home
Version: 24H2
Installed on: 27/12/2024
OS build: 26100.4349
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.107.0

Windows IoT/Embedded on Android Box
I'm planning to install Windows 7 Embedded or Windows 10 IoT on my V380 Android Box, As a purpose of some Arcade Gaming in a way back 2018 of those Machine Cabinets are running Windows for Plug and Play.
Currently I found none with a Web Search "Install Windows on Android Box" and I can't find a guide of installing Windows IoT on ARM Devices (Using Wine is a second option if I want to install Armbian, But I rather stick on the plan.)
