This advice is profound:

What could you do about your life that you should do that you would do? Tomorrow is a new week, and a lot of people – myself included – believe they will change their life completely from Monday.

While admirable, this objective is very hard, if not impossible, to fulfill. We can’t totally rewrite our daily routine overnight, because this routine took us many years to create.

What we can do, however, is set the bar so low there’s no way we can miss it. Let’s say your goal is to quit social media because it’s wasting a lot of your time. Instead of giving up Instagram in toto, make a goal of not using for one or two hours a day.

In other words, start small – then slowly build up. Improving your routine just a tiny bit is infinitely better than not making any progress at all. And most importantly of all, remember this:

Tawfiq always comes from Allah.
