Memories are the most beautiful yet the most painful thing in someone's life. It is the most difficult thing to let go, and the most hurtful way to reminisce what happened before. Sometimes, it's also the reason why people find it hard to move on—clinging on the past, hoping for one more chance, reliving the finished chapter of a book, and re-opening the closed wounds. Memories are just memories, series of events that passed and happened in the past, but it really has a big impact in our lives.

Anything is possible, even the most incredible changes. The main thing is to decide on this, take your life into your own hands and start acting. After all, sometimes just one decision is enough to change something that, it would seem, has not changed for years.

One day, you will under- stand that it never mattered how tightly you held on to the wrong people, how intensely you tried, because the right people were always going to find you. I'll never forget the day I met you. you became the main character in my story and sometimes I still wonder if you might find your way back again. I was a hopeless romantic and you... you were my right place at the right time, my dream come true, my easiest hello and my hardest goodbye. but what you should know is that i'm so glad you showed up when you did. you and I were the chapter I didn't know I needed and so many of the pages are folded at the corners because I know I will want to go back so I can always remember how good it was.
the sad truth is, we couldn't keep each other forever, but I think it's because we both knew there were other people who needed us more in this lifetime.

Let go of the past

Most of us have unpleasant situations from past years that we replay in our heads and emotionally relive over and over again. It's too much. The past cannot be changed, and there is no need to drag such a burden behind you. Imagine a problem from the past burning up in a fire, drowning in the ocean, or crumbling upon impact. Describe what happened on paper and burn it or actually drown it. Mentally, out loud, or in writing, forgive the offender or yourself.

Before you do anything, think

One day a shepherd offended a man. This man harbored a grudge against him and decided to take revenge on him. He chose a day and, late at night, began to dig a hole for his offender.

When he was digging this hole, he imagined how his offender would fall into it and break something, for example an arm or a leg, and maybe even die in it, without having a chance to get out of there. Or, in extreme cases, his sheep, ram, cow, or at worst, a goat will fall into the hole. He dug long and persistently, dreaming of revenge, and did not even notice how the hole was getting deeper and deeper.

Dawn came imperceptibly, and he woke up from his thoughts. Imagine his surprise when he saw that during this time he had dug such a deep hole that he himself was no longer able to get out of it!

Hence the conclusion: before you dig a hole for someone else, even if only in your thoughts, remember that in order to dig it, you yourself will have to be in it, since the first one in it is the one who digs it.

At the age of 19, 20, 21+ you will start to realize that life ain't easy. your circle of friends will start to become smaller. you lose yourself, you become frustrated, lonely for no reason, you will develop trust issues, you cry silently at night and wake up in the morning like nothing happened. you think about giving up many times but in the end you find yourself fighting again because you realize that this is stage where you must be strong to fight your fears and possibilities that everything will leave you.
