✅ The Mission aims to identify, document, conserve, and make accessible the manuscript heritage of India.
📍 Key Objectives
✅ Locate manuscripts through national level Survey and Post-Survey.
✅ Document each manuscript and repository for a National Electronic Database.
✅ Conserve manuscripts using modern and indigenous methods, and train a new generation of manuscript conservators.
✅ Train scholars in various aspects of Manuscript Studies.
✅ Promote access to manuscripts by digitizing rare and endangered manuscripts.
✅ Promote access to manuscripts through publication of critical editions and catalogues.
✅ Facilitate public engagement with manuscripts through lectures, seminars, and outreach programmes.

📍 Background
✅ Current education in the cooperative sector is fragmented & lacks trained manpower
✅ In 2021, the Home & Cooperation Minister announced plans for a National Cooperative University
✅ Countries like Germany, Kenya, Spain, Colombia already have similar models
📍 Focus Areas
✅ To be declared an Institution of National Importance
✅ Will offer technical & management education in the cooperative sector
✅ Promotes research, innovation, and global excellence in cooperatives
📍 Key Features
✅ First-of-its-kind specialized university for cooperatives in India
✅ Dedicated schools for:
• Dairy, Fishery, Sugar, Banking, Cooperative Finance, Marketing, etc.

आईपीएस संजय सिंघल होंगे सशस्त्र सीमा बल के नए महानिदेशक
- मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति (एसीसी) ने सशस्त्र सीमा बल के नए महानिदेशक के रूप में संजय सिंघल की नियुक्ति के केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है। वह अमृत मोहन प्रसाद का स्थान लेंगे, जो 31 अगस्त 2025 को सेवानिवृत्त होने वाले हैं।
- 15 मई 1963 को एक नए बल, विशेष सेवा निकाय, का गठन किया गया, जिसके निदेशक बी.एन. मलिक थे। के. सुब्रमण्यम की अध्यक्षता वाली कारगिल समीक्षा समिति (2001) की सिफ़ारिश पर, विशेष सेवा ब्यूरो को केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय को हस्तांतरित कर दिया गया।
- 15 दिसंबर 2003 को, इसका नाम बदलकर सशस्त्र सीमा बल कर दिया गया और इसके कार्यक्षेत्र को पुनः परिभाषित किया गया। सशस्त्र सीमा बल 1751 किलोमीटर लंबी भारत-नेपाल सीमा और 699 किलोमीटर लंबी भारत-भूटान सीमा की रक्षा करता है।
