▪️ Ingliz tilida ikkita narsani bir-biriga qiyoslashda ishlatiladigan va as yoki like so'zi bilan o'xshatishni bildiradigan iboralar 'similes' (similis deb talaffuz qilinadi) deb nomlanadi. Ularni og'zaki yoki yozma nutqingizni chiroyli qilish va qiyoshlashni kuchaytirish uchun ishlatishingiz mumkin.
▪️Similes qatnashgan gaplarga misollar:
🔸My brother is as thin as a rake. (Mening akam xaskashdek ozg'in - juda ozg'in degan ma'noda)
🔸The baby's skin is as smooth as silk. (Chaqaloqning terisi ipakdek mayin - juda mayin degan ma'noda)
🔸 I don't want to go in the car with Lottie. She drives like a maniac. (Men Lotti bilan bir mashinada ketishni xohlamayman. U aqldan ozgandek haydaydi - juda tez haydaydi)
