🚀We're delighted to announce that the integration of fraud proof technology into the Quantum Portal is now complete. This transformative technology stands as a testament to our dedication to the safeguarding and honesty of the entire network. Fraud proofs, at their core, offer on-chain guarantees of miner honesty.

💭 What does this mean for Quantum Portal and its users?
1️⃣ Enhanced Security: With fraud proofs, we introduce an extra layer of security that checks and ensures the validity of every block.
2️⃣ Optimized On-Chain Operations: The power of fraud proofs eliminates the need for an external on-chain oracle. Quantum Portal can now conclusively prove the existence of an invalid block entirely on the base layer.
3️⃣ Increased Trust: By ensuring miner honesty through on-chain guarantees, we are not just technically fortifying Quantum Portal but also strengthening the trust of our community in our platform.

📣 Progress on Implementing FRC-5 🔥

🚀 We're excited to give you an update on the progress we've made in implementing the changes as per the FRC-5 passed proposal. Your votes and inputs are vital to us, and we are pleased to announce the following milestones we've achieved:

Completed Tasks:
✅ We have successfully removed the BSC cFRM/FRM liquidity pair.
✅ To discourage unwrapping on BSC, the unwrap fee has been increased to over 10%.
✅ We've set the unstaking fee to 0% on the Binance Smart Chain.
✅ The following changes have been made to Crucible fees:
Transfers and Swaps: 0.3%
Mint and Stake: 0%
Unstake: 2%
Unwrap: 4%
✅ Approximately 13 million tokens have been released for adding liquidity.
✅ Added liquidity to the FRM/cFRM pair on Sushiswap (Arbitrum).

📋 Pending Tasks:
⏳ We are in the process of enabling bridging of cFRM from BSC to cFRM on Arbitrum for 0 fees.
⏳ A separate announcement will be released instructing you to move your tokens from BSC to Arbitrum within a 30-day window.
⏳ We will publish an article to explain the reason behind these changes and what they mean for the community.

🎉 The changes we've implemented aim to streamline the trading experience and reduce both slippage and Crucible costs. Increasing the unwrap fee helps to maintain FRM TVL. On the other hand, reducing the trading fee to 0.3% encourages more Crucible activity.

📣 Weekly Mainnet Update: Enhanced Security Through Updated Quantum Portal Finalization Process 🔥

👍 We're back with another Weekly Mainnet Update! Our development team has been hard at work to ensure a safer, more secure network for all users, and we have some exciting news to share with you.

🛡️ Improved Security Measures in Quantum Portal Finalization Process
We successfully updated the Quantum Portal finalization process. The revised system now has enhanced measures to ensure that only valid blocks are processed. Specifically, finalizers will now validate the authenticity of each mined block.

🚫 Blocking Invalid Blocks
If a mined block is found to be invalid, it will be automatically rejected. All transactions within that block will fail, and all values will be refunded to the respective beneficiaries.

🔐 On-Chain Fraud Proof Process
What's more, the rejected block will serve as evidence in an on-chain fraud proof process, which will be used to penalize the malicious miner responsible for the invalid block. This is done on the contract level and nodes will be updated this week.

✅ The Introduction of Reject Block Logic on Ferrum Node

We've implemented reject block logic on the Ferrum Node. This addition is a crucial step in fortifying our defenses against dishonest miners and ensuring the integrity of our network.

Reject block logic empowers finalizers within the network to perform comprehensive checks on each mined block. These checks encompass various aspects, including the validation of transactions, examination for any external transaction anomalies, and scrutiny for any unauthorized modifications made to the source block.

📣 Crucible Migrates to Arbitrum - What You Need to Know

💭 We are thrilled to announce the successful execution of DAO proposal FRC-5, which brings a significant upgrade to Crucible.

The FRC-5 proposal aimed to achieve four key objectives:
1️⃣ Reduce the round-trip cost of entering and exiting Crucible.
2️⃣ Encourage greater participation in presales by incentivizing token staking.
3️⃣ Maintain staking incentives to keep the network robust.
4️⃣ Add liquidity to FRM/cFRM pairs to spur trading volume and make exiting easier via swap instead of unwrap.

👉 Updated Fee Structure:
Transfer and Swaps: Reduced to 0.3%
Mint and Stake: Now 0%
Unstake: Now 2%
Unwrap: Now 4%
These rates apply to Arbitrum cFRM, our new standard for Crucible liquidity.

❗️If you have staked your Crucible on BSC, it is adviseable to move cFRM to Arbitrum within the next 30 days avoid unstaking and bridging fees. Starting today, the fees for both bridging and unstaking will be 0% for 30 days. After October 12th the fees will revert to a 2% unstaking fee and standard bridging fees. 🚨
