Little know this, but Sweepy wasn't black. Nor was he Korean. He lived in Boston, was a member of First Church Boston, and was named John Orestes Mather Brownson. May he rest in peace.

Additionally, I have taken over his accounts and will continue to post as him in his memory.

The beloved dinosaur mascot stolen from a Sinclair gas station in Brentwood has been returned, reports say.

The statue, dubbed “Claire,” was stolen late last month from the station at 13060 San Vicente Blvd., though reports by KNX and others indicated that it had been returned by Monday morning.
