8/23: Victim adapters and drain have been running smoothly. Thanks to everyone who accepted the call to beta-test! We are now working on implementing the Yearn auto-compounding mechanism, along with claiming from the contract. Once those are implemented and properly tested, we will then be working on front-end fixes before moving into our official launch. We are starting talks with other platforms to add utility to xDRC so that we can hit the ground running once the platform is live.
8/30: Currently we are working on front-end fixes that we encountered during beta-testing and internal testing. These fixes are mostly small bugs and opportunities to improve user-experience. Once these are completed, we will be doing a final run-through of the platform before we release the app to all beta-users. V2.1 launch is nearing, stay tuned for more updates!
9/6: Our Dev team has deployed Yearn adapter and updated our front-end.

We also moving forward to deeper integration with Yearn finance. With it we will essentially get an affiliate fee for all user deposits that goes to DRC stakers!
9/13: We have finished up the integration for the Yearn contracts! If you have any Yearn tokens and are interested in helping us test, please reach out! This is the last piece of our architecture, so if all goes well we will be launching after testing concludes! We are also thrilled to announce that we are onboarding a new front-end developer to help ease the workload and increase our agility for future developments. We will have a separate post once we finalize details, but be on the lookout for a governance proposal to bring on a new dev!
Dev-Update:

Dear community, we will announce the full launch of our V2.1 in the near future and will start our marketing campaign in the coming days.

At the moment it is safe (and very useful for the protocol) to provide liquidity on TVL! Let’s support our cute flying bat in the last days of beta-testing period 🦇
Dev update: Today we are glad to tell you about the launch of open beta testing. You can try it now at dracula.sucks 🦇

App: app.dracula.sucks

At the moment Yearn pools are hidden and the UI is being finalized but you can already test the project. Stay tuned - there will be more interesting news soon.
Today we're letting the outside world know Dracula v2.1 is open for business starting Oct 25th.

We're trying to raise awareness beforehand so new users, or those waiting on the sidelines, will know it's safe to deposit LP tokens (or DRC) from this date forward (our community was already made aware it was safe to do so).

Be on the lookout for more communication and announcements soon as we move towards this 'public' launch.

Dev Update 11/15:

Dear Community,

For the remainder of Q4, should the dev team focus on cross-chain implementations or adding new ETH victim adapters? Check out and vote on our new proposal here: https://snapshot.org/#/draculasucks.eth/proposal/0x3cab1bd5288e541c4a164da06e1662fd8fb8647eae37bc1cb648fb0d98bd2aaf

Also be sure to join our new Snapshot page: https://snapshot.org/#/draculasucks.eth.

Other Updates:

- Ongoing meetings with TradeFi funds
- Assessing insurance coverage options for DoDo pools
- Preliminary analysis of cross-chain bridge options
- Series of front-end UI updates
- Snapshot proposals now visible on Dracula UI
- xDRC can now be used for proposal voting
- Revisiting LobsterDAO NFT integration & related snapshot strategy (ability to define a max number of total Lobster voting power allowed)

We're also looking to have more community members step up and play more of an active role in DAO related activities. We need more community mods and could use more help w/ marketing, design, documentation, research & analysis, etc. If you're interested in helping out in any way, please reach out.
Dear Dracs,

We've put together an inventory of cross-chain options (L1, L2, sidechains) and we're in the process of assessing the pros/cons and feasibility of each one. We're also in initial discussions with 2 EVM L2s that may have funding available for a Dracula Protocol implementation + victim adapter expansion.

Grant funding and technical feasibility are important factors in our decision, therefore we're going to wait until we have all information readily available before posting a community proposal. In the meantime, we can share an outline of the inventory list we're working through.

We're also in the process of going through our second round of meetings with a TradeFi investment group.

As we work through these processes, we'd like the community to contribute towards the crosschain analysis effort. If anyone has any feedback, ideas or information regarding cross-chain options, please fill out the attached form & reference the inventory list:
