PARIS: 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL ATTACKED BY FOUR MEN OF "AFRICAN APPEARANCE" IN KFC BATHROOM, SUSPECTS ALLEGEDLY FILMED ASSAULT
On Monday, December 1, around 10:45 PM at Les Halles, one of Paris's busiest shopping centers, a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in a KFC bathroom by four men aged 18-24.
She had been separated from her friend during a police check and followed the group, who told her to "wait" with them.
According to a source close to the investigation, the attackers allegedly filmed the assault.
Four suspects of "African appearance" have been taken into custody, according to Valeurs Actuelles.
Police moved quickly.
Based on the victim's identification, all four suspects were arrested while still present at the Forum des Halles.
They're now in custody facing serious charges involving a minor under 15, which carries up to 20 years in prison.
Les Halles has become a hunting ground.
Arrests in the area have surged 57.6% this year alone.
Multiple sexual assaults were reported there in 2023 and 2024, often late at night, often targeting young girls.
The victim is receiving medical care at Necker Hospital.
