#BattleBonk v1.2.0.0 is out!
Over 4 weeks in development, I can finally reveal a big update. Ngl, it feels a little bit ropey in places, there is a few known bugs, but nothing game breaking (that I'm aware of!).

What have we achieved?
A lot of exciting stuff has happened since May 2021 in just under a year. Too much that couldn't be summarized in a Telegram message. For this reason, we have created a detailed timeline where you can see all of our previous events: https://dogebonk.com/timeline
The most notable events are:
• DOBO launches in May 3 2021 and sadly loses traction after just a day, caused by the sudden Bitcoin crash
• 4chan revives DogeBonk in October 2021 during the bullrun
• Massive billboard at Penn Station in New York that went viral
• Notable people join the DogeBonk community, such as Arthur Hayes (BitMEX), Joi Ito (MIT), Madars Virza (zCash), Dylan Barbour (Bachelor), FuntCase (Musician), Sukh Knight (Musician), and many more. I still can't believe this happened
• We become the first crypto in space and #SorryElon is trending on Twitter!
What are the future plans?
The current situation of the market is unfortunate. Almost every token is down 90% since November. However the community is still vivid and active, and I am so proud of that! I've been through some bear markets before, and I have never seen such a lively community like DogeBonk. The amount of work we put together to bring joy and happiness to the masses is unbelievable.
• James just recently launched a massive updated version of BattleBonk
• babuloseo launched our very first DogeBonk-themed Android game
• Nylle created various Twitter alert bots, so we can bonk Elon Musk and other celebrities as fast as possible
• Ghostbro got us on "Cointelegraph", organized our street crew for SXSW, wrote press releases, and did amazing marketing work in the past 7 months in general
• Peter Bonker created our Instagram bonk filter which went viral
• Adrian and Miguel made our space stunt happen
• Santovi designed our hilarious Telegram stickers
• Vvydra and Floppa built our Telegram bots
• BeBanks is maintaining Twitter
• Bonkslayer is maintaining Reddit
• Boofabonk is doing amazing SEO work for us
• Trendelenburg made our Penn Station billboard happen
• And these people are moderating our chats: Vesnushki, A Y, VVYR, Seto, Amy, Gf Massa Bonk, Murphis
• Many more people that I haven't listed here are doing unbelievable work
I don't like talking about what the future plans are, because plans create expectations, and if expectations are not met, they create uncertainty and doubt. The best things we accomplished this year were ideas we quickly decided and executed, without teasing them (or at least not teasing them for too long). Example: our space stunt, MemeTools, etc.
Over the past few weeks, i've seen a lot of projects that have been abandoned, but DogeBonk is staying strong. Rest assured that we will survive this bear market (NFA). There are a lot of people who are dedicating their time and energy to this project and I am so proud of that!
I am looking forward to see what our community will accomplish this year!

Statement about Santovi removal
There seems to be widespread dissatisfaction regarding the removal of Santovi from the moderator team. I would like to bring light into the dark.
First of all, I thank Santovi for his overall contribution to the project. He created our hilarious sticker pack and most of the memes you see spreading around in the chat today. However due to his recent actions, I had no other choice than to remove his moderator perms to prevent further damage to the DogeBonk brand.
On May 25 - after one or two months of not hearing anything from him - Santovi demands full admin rights to mitigate brand damage by other moderators like Gf Massa, Dan and Seto who were posting Jihad memes and pinning them (with notification) in the main chat. I granted him full admin rights because I trusted him.
One day after that, Santovi posted and pinned a message which you can see here: https://www.tgoop.com/dogebonk_announcements/193
Due to his unprofessional behaviour, damage to the DogeBonk brand and abuse of his moderator role, I had to remove his perms.
Personally, I'm open to welcome Santovi back to the moderator team if he has cooled off. Right now it seems like the majority of people are very emotional and heavily impulsive due to the market.
