So that we do not forget in the future, change, or deny:

These conquests in Syria came at a price: the blood of the martyrs. Its fuel was their creed, which drove them to sacrifice, patience, and steadfastness. Its motive was their faith, which pushed them toward courage, bravery, and seeking what is with Allah, to liberate His oppressed servants and raise His word.
They set forth, and Allah blessed their march and granted them victory.

Our awareness of this cuts off the path for opportunists and beneficiaries who may ride the wave to distort the outcomes and execute foreign agendas.

Our hope in Allah is that He did not grant us these conquests to close them, for He is the Protector of the believers.

Allah is the Greatest, and to Him belongs all praise.

The painful images and videos of prisons, detainees, and the bodies extracted from the jails of the tyrant Bashar al-Assad and his criminal regime continue to emerge. Worse than this is the fact that thousands of families have yet to find their imprisoned children in the tyrant's jails. Chests have started to constrict and grieve at the horror of the scenes, instinctively burning with the desire for revenge and retribution. Many people are living in a state of severe shock at the level of evil demonstrated by this criminal regime.

Here are some points regarding this matter:

1. All of this criminality was known to the countries of the world, their intelligence agencies, and institutions. Despite this, many states continued to engage with this tyrant warmly. They treated him with appreciation, respect, and recognition. They opened embassies in his country and accused his opposition of terrorism. Some countries even participated with their armies to defend him. Heavily armed Shiite militias supported him to consolidate his rule and fight his opposition.

2. This tyrant had a group of Shuyukh and preachers who glorified, praised, and commended him while defaming his opponents. Their videos still fill YouTube to this day. Even during the most recent war, some Shuyukh emerged to criticize the people leading the revolution. Some spoke about obeying the “ruler” Bashar—despite him being a tyrannical Baathist Nusayri who openly fights religion. Such examples of corrupt scholars appear in various periods of history.

3. Retribution against criminals and the healing of hearts is a legitimate Shar’i demand and a Qur’anic objective. Allah Almighty says:
“And heals the breasts of a believing people and removes the anger of their (believers’) hearts” (At-Tawbah, 9:14-15).
Allah also urged His Prophet to pursue this aim, saying:
“It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land” (Al-Anfal, 8:67).
We ask Allah, the Exalted, that this goal is achieved soon at the hands of the victors. Today, they face immense responsibilities that even mountains would struggle to bear. Perhaps they will be granted tawfeeq (divine success) in fulfilling this purpose soon, so that the chests of the wounded, the oppressed, and the wronged may be healed, and Syria may be safe from their schemes and treachery in the future.

4. What has occurred over the past two weeks is monumental. It is a massive historical event—an extraordinary divine victory that cannot be easily comprehended by the mind. We must reflect on it and thank Allah abundantly for it. It is essential to recognize the immense blessing granted to the entire Ummah by the downfall of this criminal regime. This regime represents absolute evil in every respect. Its removal is a great good, no matter the challenges that follow.

5. We must exercise patience in seeking perfection during the upcoming period. We must speak good and cooperate. The sons of the land must work together to build and protect it. There must be accountability for the criminals, upholding of truth, establishment of justice, and the word of Islam. This is the completeness of victory and the perfection of the blessing.

All this oppression, tyranny, evil, and criminality of Bashar al-Assad were masked by an elegant suit, a luxurious tie, a calm voice, embellished arguments, and formal international receptions. All the while, his human slaughterhouses and prisons were tearing apart the bodies of Syrians and subjecting them to the vilest forms of torture and punishment, a small glimpse of which has now appeared in the circulated images of the prisons after his fall.

If you listen to the Shuyukh of the Syrian regime speaking about him, you would think they are talking about the Commander of the Believers, not about the lowest, most vile, and most defiant in disbelief.
If you listen to the actors, artists, and singers who glorify him, you would say: How refined is this president’s taste and how delicate his feelings are, carrying peace, goodness, and enlightenment to the minds of Syrians.

This tyrant would not have been able to establish himself, to oppress, or to commit his tyranny if it were not for:
- The support of his Alawite Nusayri sect first (a clear and undeniable historical reality).
- The pillars of his army and regime (which, at its core, stems from the sect).
- His political and military backers among countries, as well as militias.
- The deceivers around him from Shuyukh, artists, and the like.

All praise is due to Allah for the downfall of this greatest tyrant.
All praise is due to Allah for the removal of this evil, criminality, and tyranny.
We ask Allah to allow us to soon witness retribution against the pillars of his regime who carried out killing, torture, and violations of honor and dignity.

May Allah aid our brothers with the immense responsibilities, heavy burdens, multiplying enemies, and overwhelming duties as they rebuild the blessed land destroyed by the devils of mankind.

It is our duty to offer our brothers sincere supplication, for the entire Ummah rejoiced in their victory. Today, we must support them in every way possible. And Allah is the One whose help is sought.

The wounds of Gaza are still bleeding, and the occupying entity continues its rampage, oppression, killing, and burning.
Just as Allah punished the tyrant Bashar and his regime, causing their state to fall in a matter of days due to their injustice, He will likewise take this occupying entity. We will witness its foundations crumble, just as the foundations of tyrants before it have crumbled — the way of Allah, and you will find no alteration in the way of Allah.

Those who interpret the events in Gaza through the lens of divine laws realize that the phase of destroying the occupiers is not far off; and that the increase in oppression, criminality, tyranny, and threats only hastens the occurrence of this divine law, by God's permission.

Amid the threats of mass displacement of the people of Gaza, two verses come to mind:
1. His saying: "They almost provoked you so as to evict you from the land, and in that case they would not have lasted after you except briefly; such has been Our rule with the messengers We have sent before you, and you never find any change in Our rule." [17:76-77]
2. And His saying: "So he wanted to provoke them to leave the land, but We drowned him and those with him, all together." [17:103]

The meaning of "يستفزّهم" (yastafizzuhum) according to interpreters is: "to alarm and disturb them, causing them to flee hastily"; "and 'استفزاز' (istifzāz) means to incite to depart."

Al-Sa'di commented on the first verse: "When Allah intends to destroy a nation, their crimes multiply and become great and severe, so the word from Allah is justified against them, and He inflicts punishment upon them, as is His way with nations when they expel their messenger."

Whoever has stopped supporting the people of Gaza, thinking that the end of the war means the end of the need for support, is mistaken.
This is the time for backing, this is the time for solidarity, this is the time for assistance, and this is the time for healing.

We ask Allah Almighty to strengthen them, protect them, and grant them victory.
