Hello Everyone!
While we are eagerly waiting for the next version of Android, a new Security Patch has been added in the current Source.

This update brings the latest September Patch in ProtonPlus and along with it brings the Platform Stability for this version of Android, meaning we won't be adding anything new in the source from now on. This update also starts the EOL Update for ProtonPlus.

You can expect to get the new update for the Official Devices in a few Days and also We aren't taking any new devices in our Roster for now.

Subject: ProtonPlus to be Fully Rebranded as GenesisOS from Scratch

Hello Everyone,

We are excited to announce that we will be fully rebranding our custom ROM project from scratch [ProtonPlus to GenesisOS]. This change will take effect starting with the Android 14 release.

There are a few reasons for this decision
> First, we believe that the name GenesisOS better reflects the current state of our project. We have come a long way since our beginning as a fork of ProtonAOSP to rebasing our whole Source Code Base to AOSP on Android 13, we are now a fully independent project with our own unique development goals.

> Second, we want to distance ourselves from ProtonAOSP. While we are grateful for the contributions that ProtonAOSP has made to the Android community, we believe that it is time for us to move on from the last bit of connection we have with it and create our own unique identity.

We believe that this new name better reflects the direction of the project and the community that we have built. GenesisOS is a name that evokes a sense of new beginnings, innovation, and discovery. It is a name that we believe represents the best of what our project has to offer.

We want to thank you all for your support over the last year. Your contributions have helped to make ProtonPlus the success that it is today. We are committed to continuing to develop the best possible custom ROM experience for you, and we believe that GenesisOS is the next step in that journey.
