Fairphone 6 Announced Globally

Fairphone 6 is designed for long-term use with a glue-free modular design featuring 12 easily replaceable parts. The new bits this year are the accessories which can attach to the back of the phone. You’ll need to remove two screws and you can then attach a card holder, lanyard or finger loop.

There's also a "Lime switch" which activates a “Moments” mode -- a digital detox mode where the UI turns monochrome and you have access to only five of your essential apps.

YouTube is increasing its minimum age requirement for livestreams from 13 to 16 years old, effective from July 22, 2025.

Users between 13-15 years old will need to have an adult present if they want to live stream from their own channel.

If detected otherwise, YouTube will disable their live chat and remove the stream from the platform.
