FEBRUARY 21: HE DIED WEARING HIS MASS VESTMENTS
Blessed Noël Pinot
Priest and Martyr
Died: 1794
---
He was a French diocesan priest and martyr. During the French Revolution, he refused to take an oath of loyalty to the new government which was opposed to Church principles. He was ordered to abandon his parish. He ministered secretly to his flock and convinced his fellow priests to renounce the oath. He was captured and guillotined. He wore his Mass vestments to execution and died reciting the opening words of the Mass.

I plan on releasing the translated trial documentation from 1475 of the Jews of Trent who martyred Blessed Simon, which will be the first public and first English publication of the court documentation.
Attached to this is a paper I wrote on why one can trust the source itself, how we know the murder did occur and the defendants are guilty, using a range of historical tools, particularly a pretty cutting method. This will go through some refutations of historians’ argumentation.
There is also an appendix, attached documents and information about the Church's approval of the cult of Simonino.
I plan on releasing it this Monday, the 24th of March, the feast day of St Simon of Trent, the day he was murdered.
However, I cannot complete all of the appendix and referencing in time for a release at 12:01 AM
on the 24th, Trent time.
I wish to ask then: should I wait and make it "perfect" or get it out there and release it.
Either way I will make a book on it.

As a result of the vote: I will delay and improve the Paper, appendix and translated documents. Instead, on the 24th of March, I will publish some of Church’s approval of the veneration of Blessed Simon of Trent.
God bless.
