In this presentation, after a brief introduction to quantum technologies and the importance of the subject, we will discuss the phenomenon of tunneling and energy quantization in a Josephson junction. Finally, we will examine the applications derived from these experiments and their significance, which led to the Nobel Prize being awarded.
