This pub was left to rot for years before being taken over by #Domino's pizza. It's understandable that Pubs can become troublesome, but it's not understandable that we should give up on them altogether. Goodbye to the Bucks head and to memories it provided. 🍻

This stunning building doesn't just capture the eye but sits in the iconic location of #London's Bloomsbury. Steeped in history we found it an awful shame that it's pub sign resembles some kind of child's drawing. We return to the amazing and welcoming 'Boat Inn' where we was once more received with open arms but it's friendly landlord. it touched us when he told us that after our video which included Morris Dancers, three more groups of Morris Dancers and even Belly handers had visited the pub off the back of our video.

This pub has flood many times due it it sitting directly beside the river Severn at the bottom of a beautiful valley. The garden, the brickwork and the interior are truly culturally charming as well as welcoming and homely.

Thank you once again for yet another charming tour and a chance to reflect upon on of our early episodes. The views and the memories combined are why this public house will always be special to me on a personal level.

The Anchor Pub, 1930

#SomersTown (now Chalton Street, #StPancras).

This public house was taken over by Jellicoe and Edith Neville upon which it became a ‘reformed pub’ where punters could buy food as well as drink. Its very first customers were the Archbishop of #Canterbury and the Prince of #Wales.

Their roaring laughter & wonderful spirit are such a pleasure to hear.

Father Basil Jellicoe, a prominent housing reformer and Church of England priest is seen here teaching a song.

'The Ratcliff Highway Murders' or the 'Ratcliff murders' is the tale of a set of cold blooded killings most foul, which took place in and around the public houses of #Wapping and #Shadwell during the early 19th century.

Join us as we embark on a tale which included many missing pubs of the east-end which served the grittiest of Londoner's.

This is an important tale to the area's of Shadwell and Wapping as well as to the overall history on east London. We cover various locations which look similar or completely different to the scenes of 1811.

This story has a dose of the macabre, the historic and the downright interesting. We hope you take as much from this film as we did by making it and once again thank all those who view and support our content as well as Britain's pubs.

I will be hosting a viewing on my channel of an old television series which explain the lead up to, and finalisation of the European Monarch's.

It also covers the Franco-Prussian war and the formation of Germany under Otto.

We shall watch, but also pause and comment on relevant topics which the series include or simply allude to.

If you join us late for an episode, simply watch it back in your own time and catch up on the next one, there's about 12 to get through at about 40 minutes each.
