Isn't it quite hilariously absurd, that people cultivate desires and work so hard to fulfill them - only to [unconsciously] attain the state of desirelessness [again] - which was always there to begin with [before they cultivated their desire and worked for it]? Why do you toil needlessly like this at all?

It's like a person, who was resting very blissfully, decides to [foolishly] pick a very heavy load on his shoulders, run here and there, only to put it back down after a while and then feel relieved and blissful [again] - which he already was, in the first place. It sounds lame, but that's what happens.

What you're actually seeking - the endless happiness - is already here and now. It's your real nature. Due to wrong ideas, we imagine that it's in something else, or somewhere else. This verily is the sole cause of the suffering. Awaken, O soul! Know that, what you seek, is what you are.

Remember, the mind will use all the force, stealth and reasons, in order to convince you to go for sense pleasures and worldly indulgence. It will try its best to make you feel as if you'll die without indulging. But you don't have to believe that feeling, as it's a sheer deception. Don't give into that false feeling or deception, at all. Refuse to believe that you need anything to be happy. Remember, the mind needs your approval first to proceed with something. If you don't give that approval, it becomes powerless. Be conscious and act wisely.

Otherwise, if you act compulsively, the mind will win and you'll fall back to where you started. So you must act wisely and don't give in, then mind will soon give up, become calm and great bliss will come immediately afterwards. Do the same every time, consciously, whenever the mind tries to take you down the lane of sense pleasures. If you ignore and tame it down sufficiently for many times, it will give up entirely and eventually become perfectly still and quiet. That perfectly still mind, is the doorway to infinite and undecaying inner bliss.

Physically, one may be anywhere in the world, but in reality, one is where one's mind is. You may be doing a pilgrimage, but if your mind is thinking about home or friends, that's where you really are. Likewise, you may be at your home, doing chores, but if your mind is on Me, that's as good as being in My presence.

You're advancing spiritually, if not doing your spiritual practices regularly, or missing out on them - makes you feel unfulfilled, hollow or as if you're lacking something crucial and indispensable. The more you grow spiritually, the more you realize the illusion of worldly happenings/pleasures and the more you find contentment within your being.

"Attention" is the most valuable currency of yours. The biggest secrets and the deepest wisdom of the cosmos can be unearthed if sufficient attention is there for it. So, invest it wisely and put it in the right direction. Where you direct it, matters a lot, as that can make or break your life.

Flower doesn't lose its inherent fragrance, even when the filth is thrown at it. Similarly good people don't lose their goodness [and behave otherwise], even when life throws harsh and difficult situations at them.

Know that pain exists because the desire to indulge in pleasure is there. Both arise and subside simultaneously. Giving up the desire for pleasure ends the chance of the pain being there as well.

Even if you forget to think of Me, I will always continue to keep my eyes on you. I'm with you, wherever you may be. My Grace and Love will never cease to flow towards you. It's only a matter of you realizing this truth.

I actually don't work in "mysterious ways". It's only your mind that - in mysterious ways - veils the truth of your oneness with Me, projects the duality of the world and thus, makes you suffer. If you leave all the worldly drama completely and with a deeply introverted mind, abide within the core of your being, the whole illusory play of duality will end in an instant. The ultimate truth will then shine before you, in you, as you, in its full glory!

Bad experiences in life are actually good experiences. They're a blessing in disguise. For, what you learn through them, is invaluable and you wouldn't have learned it otherwise. So, don't try to forget them as they will help and guide you for the rest of your life.

Loneliness is actually a blessing. Don't run away from it. Only in the lap of isolation and loneliness - free from various distractions - were so many cosmic secrets, universal laws and all kinds of scientific and spiritual truths, discovered and realized. In fact, true happiness and wisdom can never come to the one who cannot stay alone and embrace one's own presence.

Will power isn't synonymous to success, as usually believed. It's the ability to embrace both success and failure with equanimity.
