Pada tanggal 1, BTS secara langsung mengumumkan comeback mereka melalui siaran langsung di platform penggemar super global Weverse sekitar pukul 21.20, dengan mengatakan, "Album grup akan dirilis musim semi mendatang. Kami akan mulai mempersiapkan bersama mulai bulan Juli. Karena ini adalah album grup, saya pikir semua pemikiran anggota akan disertakan. Kami akan kembali ke awal dan mengerjakannya." BTS has officially announced a comeback in the spring of 2026. Music fans around the world cheered at the news of the return of these '21st century pop icons' who have rewritten the history of music beyond K-pop.

On the 1st, BTS directly announced their comeback during a live broadcast on the global super fan platform Weverse at around 9:20 PM, saying, "A group album will be released next spring. We will start preparing together starting in July. Since it is a group album, I think all the members' thoughts will be included. We will go back to the beginning and work on it." They also added, "We are also planning a world tour with the new album. We will visit various places around the world, so please look forward to it."
