It’s amazing that @drsimonegold has to defend herself before the CA med board for calling the shots “experimental gene therapy” in 2020. In an investor / SEC-related disclosure by Moderna, see p70, company states that “Currentiy, mRNA is considered a gene therapy product by the FDA”.
It’s an official stance, not opinion on behalf of one of us, or a media report. Companies are rightly terrified about being perceived to have misled investors or lied to regulatory authorities, such as the SEC, because the latter have awesome powers.
