That didn’t last long — Trump warns Israel might resume fighting in Gaza

The tentative peace deal seems to be crumbling, Israel is accusing Hamas of not abiding by the agreement that it hand over hostages living and dead, saying the group is returning deceased hostages in small numbers.

So far the tenuous ceasefire has held, but Trump already issued a threat that if Hamas refuses to uphold its end of the deal, he will allow Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resume military action in Gaza and that Israeli forces would return to the streets “as soon as I say the word”.

To drive the point home Israel has halved the amount of aid it’s allowing into Gaza.
