Why This Matters:
- Catholicism teaches a God who is *intimately knowable, even in His mystery-who lifts us into direct communion* with His very Being.
-whereas The Orthodox Palamite view *locks God away* behind an eternal metaphysical veil. Theosis becomes interaction with what God does, but not union with who God is.
That's not the God of Moses, who said "I AM"*, or of Christ, who said *"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
> + "This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." - John 17:3
> *"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; THEN I SHALL KNOW FULLY, even as I am fully known."*
> - *1 Corinthians 13:12 (RSV-CE)*
### + What This Implies:
"Now... dimly": In this life, our knowledge of God is limited, mediated by faith, symbols, and grace.
"Then... face to face": In glory, we will behold God directly, not merely His effects or energies.
- *"I shall know fully": Paul isn't saying he'll become omniscient, but that his knowledge of God Himself* will be complete in its mode, appropriate to a creature united to God by grace.
This verse *flatly contradicts the Palamite idea that God's essence is forever unknowable even in eternity. Paul speaks of *a future state* where the veil is removed and the soul sees God Himself-face to face.
> As St. John says: *"We shall see Him as He is."* *1 John 3:2*

Modern "Orthodoxy" has changed its teaching on essence and action:
Now, the classical teaching of Palamas does not contradict Catholicism in any way, let us look at Thomism:
With this, we see that orthodoxy is not the boat of Christ, but a leaky canoe that invents things to avoid drowning.
The difference between substance and actions consists precisely in that actions indeed is that which is known, while that which is known by means of it as existent is substance.
- Palamas, Gregory.
Now, the classical teaching of Palamas does not contradict Catholicism in any way, let us look at Thomism:
In God, existence and essence are one and the same.
- Aquinas, Thomas.
With this, we see that orthodoxy is not the boat of Christ, but a leaky canoe that invents things to avoid drowning.

Hi guys, I hope you are well. That same friend I was talking about before says he thinks he wants to become a Catholic. Please pray for him.

"The reading of Scripture is a great defense against sin. Ignorance of the Scripture is a great misfortune, a great abyss. Not to know anything from the word of God is a disaster. This is what has given rise to heresies, to immorality; it has turned everything upside down.β

Luke 1:28 "And coming to her, he said, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you."
**The Greek kecharitomene (FULL OF GRACE) means full of grace . Its tense suggests a permanent state of being "highly favored," thus full of grace. THIS SHOWS HIGH RESPECT TO THE VIRGIN MARY . The Angel Gabriel venerated Her by Saying this . NOTE THAT ""VENERATION MEANS HIGH RESPECT .... IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE WORSHIP MARYπ... To any Protestant reading ...Please don't make such a Stupid assertion :)
2γBlessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus
Luke 1:42b "...and blessed is the fruit of your womb."3γHoly Mary, Mother of God
Jesus is Mary's fruit. Good fruit does not come from anything but a good tree (Mt. 7:17-18)! The all-holy Son of God could not be the fruit of any other tree than the Immaculate Virgin.
Luke 1:43 "And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Luke 1:43 "And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
4γPray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Luke 1:43 "And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
Kyrios is the Greek word used by the Jews in the Septuagint Bible (Greek translation) for Yhwh, the Divine Name of God. In her greeting of Mary, Elizabeth is saying: "How is it that the mother of my God should come to me." Against the heresies of the 4th and 5th centuries which tried to split the Person of Jesus into two, divine and human, denying one or the other, the Council of Ephesus in 431 AD proclaimed Mary Theotokos (God-bearer, i.e. mother of God). Jesus is a single Person, a Divine Person, the 2nd Person of the Most Holy Trinity. To be mother of the Person Jesus is to be mother of a Person who is God. Mary's title protects this truth against errors which emphasize or deny, either the divinity or humanity of the Lord.
4γPray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Mary is Alive in Heaven.... Not dead . Since she is Alive in Heaven she can Pray for us just like People on Earth do . HENCE We ask Mary Our Mother to Pray for us to The Lord God Jesus..... Just as She did at The Wedding of Caana and Jesus Performed the Miracle by turning water into Wine.

Proving the Hail Mary is Biblical . Therefore Protestants Cannot say that "We Worship Mary"

Fighting Lust Before It Grows
(A message from a brother in the battle)
I want to share something deeply personalβbecause I know Iβm not the only one.
Lust has been a real struggle in my life. At first, it was small. I thought I could handle it. I let it crawl into my heart. I stayed silent. I didnβt ask for help. I was ashamedβand honestly, too prideful to admit it. Now, I see how much ground itβs tried to take in my life.
But by the grace of God, I havenβt given up. And neither should you.
We are in a real spiritual battle. The enemy wants to isolate us, shame us, and keep us from the mercy of Christ. But Christ came precisely for sinnersβand He gave us the sacraments, especially Confession, to be healed and restored.
Here are a few things Iβve learned that have helped me fight:
1. Confession is powerful. Donβt wait. Donβt hide. Run to the Lord in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. He already knows, and He waits with open arms. His mercy is greater than your sin.
2. Reach out early. Temptation grows in silence. Message someone. Talk to a brother. Donβt let the sin fester in the dark.
3. Guard your senses. What you watch, listen to, and scroll through forms your desires. Be intentionalβpractice custody of the eyes. Uninstall what you need to. Flee occasions of sin.
4. Fill your soul. Go to Mass, even daily if you can. Pray the RosaryβOur Lady is a fierce protector of purity. Read Scripture. Feed your soul with the things of Heaven.
5. Fast and offer sacrifices. Denying your body teaches your soul to lead. Even small actsβcold showers, skipping snacks, waking up earlier to prayβtrain the will and unite us to the Cross.
6. Stay hopeful. If you fall, get up. Again and again. Donβt listen to the lie that youβve βfailed too many times.β Godβs grace is new every morning. The saints didnβt become saints because they never fellβbut because they never stopped turning back to God.
And finallyβif youβre fighting lust, or anything else, please donβt be afraid to reach out to this group. No one here is going to judge you. Honestly, your account is privateβwe donβt even know who you are. Youβre not alone. Weβre all trying to follow Christ, and we need each other.
This fight is realβbut so is Godβs mercy. Speak up before it grows. Stand with your brothers. Ask Our Lady to cover you. Go to Confession. Keep getting up.
Iβm still in the fightβbut I belong to Christ. And I refuse to give up.
