Forwarded from IELTS ZONE 9.0
Odatda, Overall 9.0 natijasini bir marta qayd etishning o‘zi juda qiyin. Uni ikki yoki undan ko‘p marta takrorlash esa IELTS ZONE uchun allaqachon odatiy holga aylangan!
Jamoamizda yana bir “svejiy” 9.0 natijani kutib oling! 🎉
Bu 9.0 — IELTS ZONE tarixidagi umumiy hisobda 20-chi natija!
Va qiziq tomoni shundaki, 20-chi 9.0 natijamiz 20/09 kuni qayd etildi. Tasodifmi? Bilmaymiz 😉
Hozircha 12 nafar NINER hisobidan jami 20 ta 9.0!
Respublika bo‘ylab bunday natija faqat bitta joyda mavjud — bu esa IELTS ZONE!
Aytgancha, bugungi 9.0 egasi kim deb o’ylaysizlar?

I’ve just learned a new word: corrugated.
According to the OALD, it means having the shape of a series of regular folds that look like waves.
I love browsing the dictionary for new words, but these first encounters rarely stick unless you come across the word again and again in different contexts. In a way, our brains tend to retain only the words that are frequent enough. So I highly doubt that I’m gonna remember this one a couple of months from now, unless somehow I get involved in some construction projects :)

#PhraseOfTheDay: to go to the trouble of (doing something)
When you go to the trouble of doing something, it means you make a special effort to do it — usually more than what is expected, and sometimes more than what seems necessary.
Examples:
She went to the trouble of cooking a full dinner, even though we said we weren’t hungry.
If he didn’t care, he wouldn’t have gone to the trouble of writing such a long explanation.
Usage note:
This phrase is more common in spoken discourse. It often carries a tone of surprise or appreciation when someone makes an extra effort.
